Cynthia Prosterman has been president of Tamalpais Travel since 1988. She has worked in the travel industry for 40 years and has traveled world-wide, visiting every continent more than once (with the exception of Antarctica, which she will get to one of these days.) Because of her wide ranging experience she knows first-hand the joys that must not be missed — and the problems to be avoided — in the destinations to which her clients want to travel.

“I have two goals,” she says. “My first is to design memorable, fun and stress-free vacations for my clients. My second is to travel and take my family to as many destinations in the world as I can within my lifetime.”

Cynthia specializes in leisure travel, with a particular focus on families and couples. Customer Service has been the foundation of Tamalpais Travel. Cynthia loves to hear about her clients’ travels when they return. “Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Israel and Greece are my favorite destinations,” she says. “Destinations I love to sell also include South and East Africa, India, China, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, South and Central America, and of course, Europe.”
